NYE at the Elkhorn Catering & Conference Center was truly a night to remember. For participation it was a matter of quality vs. quantity with 60 guests. Of significant note, the weather did not cooperate, as the temperature was a mere 1 degree and the main roads and side streets were extremely icy.

The band for our New Year's Eve celebration provided an outstanding show as they completely engaged the audience. The guests in attendance at the Elkhorn's NYE Celebration were literally dancing on the dance floor, in the aisles and throughout the ballroom! The 5 piece band was 'Play It Forward' and they played 60's, 70's and 80's Classic Rock into the New Year until 1 a.m.

'Play It Forward' was a pleasure to work with from our initial discussion, when they arrived preparing their equipment, interacting with our party guest and into the early morning as our event came to a close - Their enthusiasm was contagious.

This is an awesome band!! We had a great time listening to Play It Forward at various local venues in the past, so when we decided to have live music for our son's wedding reception, we knew they were the kind of band we wanted to hire. They played a nice selection of jazz music during dinner and a great selection of classic rock later on that got everyone on the dance floor. Craig was great to work with and the entire band was extremely accomodating and very professional. We only wish they could have played longer! We would highly recommend this band - they ROCK!

My wife and I found searching for a band to play our wedding an extremely difficult and daunting task because we felt the entertainment can really make or break the reception. We looked at numerous bands which included going to their respective shows many times over. We saw Play It Forward on three occasions at various public venues and were impressed by their range. I was still nervous because the venues we saw them at significantly contrasted with our wedding reception. The reception was amazing with people on the dance floor the entire night.

My Staff and I would like to thank the members of “Play It Forward” for a wonderful time at our recent office/staff and customer appreciation party. The band’s musical repertoire was perfect for those in attendance. They played the right amount of old time rock and roll and dance music mixed with some new modern rock. A great variety for those that wanted to dance, just sing along, or just sit back, relax, and listen.

Their stage set up was perfect for the outdoor venue! Their lighting effects really highlighted the band members and the guests as twilight set in. The interaction among the crowd by the wireless mics, horns, and guitars made our guests really feel comfortable being an active part of the show as the musicians mingled among those dancing or relaxing.

After seeing and experiencing several musical groups in a variety of clubs, bars and private settings over the past year, we are glad we chose “Play it Forward” to provide the musical entertainment at our party! I would recommend Play It Forward for anyone looking to hire live entertainment!!!
